Hyundai Aura High-CNG: Hyundai Motor India Limited introduced dual-cylinder CNG technology in its two models Exciter and Grand i10 Nios a few weeks ago. Now the company has launched the base-spec ‘E’ trim of its most affordable sedan car Hyundai Aura with a factory-fitted CNG kit. Equipped with attractive looks and powerful engine, this family sedan car has been priced at Rs 7.48 lakh (ex-showroom).

Let us tell you that dual-cylinder technology was first used by Tata Motors in CNG cars. Tata has used this technology in its cars like Tiago, Tigor and Punch. The special thing about this technology is that instead of a large CNG cylinder, two small (dual) cylinders have been given in the car.

Which provides better boot space inside the car. The Hyundai Aura High-CNG E trim has a 1.2-liter capacity bi-fuel petrol engine, which is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine generates 69 hp power at 6000 rpm and 95.2 Nm torque at 4000 rpm. The company claims that this car gives a mileage of 28.4 km per kg.

These features are available

AURA Hy-CNG includes front power window, driver seat height adjustment, adjustable rear seat headrest and 8.89 cm speedometer with multi-information display. This sedan also has a stylish Z-shaped LED taillamp which enhances its design appeal. For safety, this car has been provided with 6 airbags, 3 point seat belt (all seats), seatbelt reminder (all seats) and many other safety features.

Commenting on the launch, Tarun Garg, Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “We constantly strive to introduce new products that suit the needs of our customers. The Hyundai Aura Hi-CNG E trim offers superior dynamics without compromising on style, safety or performance. Over 2,00,000 units of this car have been sold since its launch. We hope that this new model will be even more loved by customers.”
