In July 2024, the Himalayan 450 was still ahead by 1,300 units. However, in July 2024, the Himalayan registered a 12.68% YoY decline as compared to 3,171 units sold in July 2023. Meanwhile, the Guerrilla 450 was flying high; in terms of sales, the Himalayan 450 sold 2,009 units in August 2024, while the Guerrilla 450 took the lead with 2,205 units.
The Himalayan sales figures for August 2024 have become more interesting. Sales of this popular ADV almost halved when it sold 3,856 units in August 2023, registering a 47.90% YoY drop and a loss of 1,847 units in volume. Even on a monthly basis, the Himalayan 500 registered a 27.45% drop in sales. Volumes lost 760 units. The Guerrilla 450, on the other hand, registered a 50.10% MoM growth, gaining 736 units. The Guerrilla 450 is preferred by Indians to the Himalayan 450.
