Chinese company BYD (Build Your Dreams) is preparing to launch its new eMAX7 MPV in India. Reports indicate that the launch date is 8 October. It can replace the E6 MPV. It will have three-row seating and upgraded features. We also expect its range to surpass that of the E6. This car from BYD can create competition for the Toyota Innova range. Let’s go into more detail about the eMAX7 MPV.

Firstly, the eMAX7 retains the exterior design of the E6 MPV. However, it features a fresh face, new wheels, and a new tail lamp. Speaking of the cabin, it has been trimmed in beige from the inside. It will have a powered front seat, a dual digital screen, a power tailgate, and both 6-seat and 7-seat options. Its features will closely resemble those of the E6 MPV.

When it comes to its battery pack and range, the old e6 model used to get a 71.7kWh battery pack, which claimed to give a range of 500km on a single charge. Experts believe that the eMAX7 can replace this battery pack with a 71.8kWh unit. In such a scenario, the range on a single charge will increase to 530 km. Its power output will also increase from 94 bhp to 204 bhp, and its top torque will go from 180 Nm to 310 Nm. In other words, it will become more powerful.

With Atto3, BYD has planned to target Hyundai Tucson, while Seal is their best product. We anticipate that eMAX7 will significantly increase sales. Similar to the outgoing model, it will attract not only private customers but also luxury fleet aggregators such as five-star hotels and premium cab services. We anticipate its ex-showroom price to range from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 33 lakh.
