Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV: India is offering a huge discount on its hit Grand Vitara SUV this month i.e. September. Customers will get a benefit of up to Rs 1.28 lakh on buying this SUV this month. The company is offering a discount of Rs 1.28 lakh on its strong hybrid range, Rs 73,100 on mild-hybrid line-up and about Rs 33,100 on Grand Vitara CNG.
Customers will start getting the benefit of this offer this month itself. The company claims that the Grand Vitara runs 1200Km on a full tank once. In the Indian market, the Grand Vitara competes with models like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Honda Elevate.
Engine and mileage
Maruti Suzuki and Toyota have jointly developed the Grand Vitara. It is a 1462cc K15 engine that generates power of about 100 bhp at 6,000 RPM and torque of 135 Nm at 4400 RPM. It has a mild hybrid system and is paired with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. This powertrain is also the only engine with an AWD option so far. It is also the most fuel efficient vehicle in its segment. Its strong hybrid e-CVT gives a mileage of 27.97km. While the mild hybrid gives a mileage of up to 21.11kmpl.
