The car will be equipped with a 1.2-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine
The design of Nexon CNG will be similar to the standard model and it will have only necessary changes related to fuel. To give this car a distinct identity, there will be ICNG badging on the car. Nexon CNG will be offered with a 1.2-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine. Let us tell you that after Tigor and Tiago, this will be Tata’s third car that will have a CNG-automatic combination.
What could be the price
The starting price of Tata’s Nexon CNG can be around Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom price). This CNG-powered car will be offered with twin 60-liter CNG tanks and 230 liters of boot space.
The car can also be started directly on CNG mode
Tata’s Nexon CNG will have a single ECU, which will shift from CNG to petrol mode without any delay. Not only this, this CNG car of Tata, Nexon, can also be started directly on CNG mode. According to Tata Motors, Nexon will come with NGV1 nozzle, due to which it will take less time to fill gas in this car as compared to other vehicles.
