Maruti Suzuki evX: Maruti Suzuki is going to launch its first electric car Maruti Suzuki eVX soon. The company said that it will launch its upcoming eVX electric SUV in January 2025. The company has started preparations for this. Maruti is starting it by installing EV chargers at Nexa outlets.

It’s clear that the company wants to improve its charging infrastructure before the launch of eVX. At the same time, by installing EV chargers at Nexa outlets, it has also become clear that the electric SUV will be sold from Nexa dealerships only.

Maruti Suzuki eVX: Features

Talking about the design of Suzuki eVX, it can be quite different from the concept model. It can have a horizontal LED light bar at the rear. This electric vehicle can have a high-mounted stop lamp, shark fin antenna and sloped terrace. On the outside of the car, there can be a raked front windshield, squared-off wheels and muscular side cladding hidden inside the warp. The car will run on 17-inch alloy wheels.

Maruti Suzuki eVX: Powertrain

Maruti Suzuki eVX can come with both single and dual-electric motor setup options. It is being said that it can be reserved for international markets like Europe and Japan. The eVX will be given a 60 kW Li-ion battery pack, which will give a driving range of about 500 km. Not only this, it was recently seen during testing, in which two-spoke steering wheel and dual-screen layout have been seen.

Maruti Suzuki eVX: Launch Timeline

After being launched in the Indian market, Maruti Suzuki eVX will compete with electric vehicles like the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 based electric SUV, Hyundai Creta based EV, Tata Curve EV, Honda Elevate EV, Kia Seltos EV. The company can launch it at India Mobility Global Expo 2025 to be held in New Delhi from 17 to 22 January.
