Citroen C3 Car: India has launched the updated model of its entry level car C3 in the Indian market. The company has kept the ex-showroom price of 2024 Citroen C3 at Rs 6.16 lakh. The prices of other variants have been increased by up to Rs 30,000.

The range has been reduced due to the discontinuation of C3 Feel Turbo and C3 Feel DC. The price of the Feel grade has increased by Rs 20,000, while the Shine trim is Rs 30,000 more expensive. All trims except the top-end Shine are equipped with a 1.2L turbo three-cylinder petrol engine.

The company has also included some new features in it. 6 airbacks have been made standard for safety in this car. In the Indian market, Citroen C3 competes directly with models like Maruti Swift, Maruti WagonR, Hyundai i10 Nios, Tata Tiago. Its starting price is Rs 7.99 lakh. At the same time, the C3 Aircross SUV has also been updated with new features.

Talking about its powertrain, this hatchback will be mated to a 6-speed automatic torque converter like the C3 Aircross and Basalt Coupe SUV. It retains two 1.2-litre petrol engines. The naturally aspirated one has an output of 80 bhp and 115 Nm with a 5-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, the 1.2-litre turbo will come with two power outputs and two gearboxes. The 6-speed manual produces 108 bhp and 190 Nm while the new automatic version will pump out 108 bhp but will have a higher torque output of 205 Nm.

At the same time, LED projector headlights, automatic climate control, fully digital instrument console, power window switches repositioned from the centre console to the door area, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors with integrated turn indicators have been included. The special thing is that its price is much lower than all other hatchbacks available in the market.
